Competence 4
Basic Competence
1. Determining surface area and volume of cylinder, cone, and sphere.
2. Estimate and determining surface area of irregular plan and space by applying
combination of its basic geometry.
Students expected can determine surface area formula of sphere correctly, after
doing some experiment.
2.
After founding surface area formula of sphere, students are expected able to
apply it in solving a problem correctly.
Prepare one plastic ball, ballpoint, scissor, cutter, carton paper, and
ruler.
Discussion
By doing activity 2.1 please discuss with you group to answer that
question!
Let, figure 3.2 (a) is a plastic ball with radius r and figure 3.2
(b) is a net of a tube with radius r and the height of the tube is
equal to the diameter of ball. According to Math Info beside. Mr.
Archimedes said If sphere and tube have same radius and height

A. OBSERVATION SHEET ASSESSMENT OF ATTITUDE
Attitude indicator is active in the learning infinite limit function
1. Less well if the show did not take part in the learning
2. Well if it shows there have been efforts to take part in the study but not
monotonically / consistent
3. Very good if the show had taken part in completing the task group is continuously
and monotonically / consistent
Attitude indicator cooperate in group activities.
1. Less well if not at all trying to work together in group activities.
2. Well if it shows there have been efforts to cooperate in group activities but still
not steady / consistent.
3. Very good if the business showed cooperate in group activities continuously and
monotonically / consistent.
Indicators tolerance attitude towards different problem-solving processes and creative.
1. Less well if not at all tolerant of different problem-solving processes and creative.
2. Well if it shows there have been efforts to be tolerant of different problem-solving
processes and creative but yet steady consistent.
3. Very good if the show has been no attempt to be tolerant of different problemsolving processes and creative continuously and monotonically / consistent.
Put mark in the appropriate columns of the observations.
