Position Summary: The Deputy Director of Management & Operations serves as a leader in the Management & Operations Team: The DDMO manages the finance section by providing guidance on technical and administrative matters. The DDMO provides supervision to the Financial Assistant, the Cashier and maintains key oversight of Logistics during training events. The DDMO acts as Contract Officer and plays a critical role in procurements at post and also works with the Director of Management & Operations Team to perform administrative, financial and travel functions that support Volunteers and Staff. Duties include processing invoices, vouchers financial planning, records management, booking international travel, implementations, and other assorted duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: History of direction supervision experience in a financial office. Experience in preparing multi-year financial plans. Bachelors degree or greater in Finance or Accounting required. Extensive background in travel planning and procurements. Exceptional and proven written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrates keen sense of cultural awareness for both Liberian and American cultures. EXCELLENT prior customer service skills history with focus on accuracy and exceeding timelines. Demonstrate high proficiency in Microsoft products with experience in Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be VERY organized, accurate, efficient and have the ability to prioritize many projects at one time. Must be solution oriented and resourceful in problem solving. Excellent organizational skills with experience in cataloging and archiving records. Adaptability to web based programs and experience with technology a REQURIED. Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to work independently. POSITION WILL BE SUBJECT TO A BACKGROUD CHECK CLEARANCE.
