A Look Inside
I have been reading mystery books. They could be true or they could not
be true. I do not know. The only way to find the real truth is to look in-
side yourself. That is true! Not like the book. Dont be surprised at what
you find. There are more mysteries inside of you than you have fingers
and toes. How do you feel? How do you view life? How do you see others?
The biggest mystery is, how do you see yourself? What do you think about
what you see inside of you? Dont be surprised, there is more to learn!
How did you get to where you are? Are you happy about what you see in-
side of you? What can you do about what you see? Is there any help for
what you see inside of you? Where can you find help? There is only one
place to find the help you need, and that is to look inside yourself.

Obituary
Vertia Bell Morrow Henderson departed this life on June 3, 2014 at the
age of 82. She was born on September 16, 1931 to the late Harrison and
Anna Lee Morrow. She was raised by her beloved grandparents, Leffie and
Mary Durr in Pelahatchie, Mississippi.
Vertia worked as a support staff in the hotel industry and later as an OR
Technician at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. Her life-long work was
as an ordained missionary, leading others to Christ. Attending to the
needs of many in every way possible, she was known as an encourager. She
also served in the church as an usher, member of the Senior choir, and
Sunday school teacher at Holy Trinity COGIC. After her retirement, she
moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where she enjoyed a variety of interests includ-
ing, but not limited to writing poetry, traveling, exercising and spending
time with family and friends. A stranger to no one, she made a lasting
impression on people through her daily expressions of love; her hearts
desire was for all of her offspring to be saved and in close fellowship
with The Lord.
She leaves to cherish precious memories seven daughters: Theresa Smith of
Cincinnati, Ohio; Patricia Tate (Howard) of Upper Marlboro, MD; Bar-
bara Wilkerson (Earnest) of Charlotte, NC; Darlene Davis (Fred III) of
Pittsburgh, PA, Cheryl Felton of Cincinnati, Ohio, Anna Hughes of Wood-
bridge, VA, Isa Turner, Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter-in-law Carolyn
Wood-Henderson of Manassas, VA and Khaney Edmonds (spiritual
daughter) of Pittsburgh, Pa.
She is beloved by nineteen grandchildren: Mira, Kimberly, Bernadette
(Tres), Fred IV (Rebecca), Dominique, Hamilton, Valeni (Chana), Ari-
ane (Lorenza), Mya, Lisette, Christian, Carroll, Steven, Chandler, Jona-
than, Ronald, Destiny, David, Joe, Blake, and Bryce. She leaves nine
great- grandchildren: Richard, Madison, Andrew, Jacqueline, Brayden,
Jordyn, Alyssa, Fred V, and Ava. She leaves one uncle, Charles Durr
(Beulah) of Houston, Texas, a brother, Hosea Morrow (Rosie) of Erie, PA
and is preceded in death by two children, Lydia Henderson (2011) and
Willie Henderson, husband of Carolyn (2013) and one son-in-law, Valeni
Felton (2014). She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,

kins.
