Shellyann Lydia Michele Richardson
Shellyann Lydia Michele Richardson (Hendy) was born to Cynthia
and Horace Hendy on December 22, 1963 in San Fernando hospital in
Trinidad West Indies. She was the eldest of four girls.
Upon entering the United States, she joined the U.S. Army in 1981,
where she served for a total of seven years. Initially her primary specialty
was Field Artillery Target Acquisition Specialist and she later converted
to a Finance Specialist.
In 1983, she was united in holy wedlock to Mr. Wayne Richardson. To
this union two children were born: Vanessa and Tifany Richardson.
She attended Augusta Technical College and graduated on April 16,
1996 with an Associate of Science degree in Accounting.
Shellyann was baptized in Jesus name on September 20, 2003 at
Turning Point Restoration Ministries under the leadership of Bishop
Morris L. Williams, Sr. She served faithfully on the TPR Usher Board
and within the TPR Sisters of Destiny; and was also a loyal volunteer
and assistant to the Vacation Bible School staf every year.
She was known for her great passion for ftness and nutrition. She was a
power-lifer as well as a personal trainer to many associates and friends.
She was also known for her keen fashion sense and taught many about
the usefulness and saving potential of Goodwill Stores. Many of us have
been touched by her knowledge, giving nature and candidness.
She departed this life, at the age of 49-years-old, on Saturday, November
2, 2013 at the Veterans Afairs Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. During
her long fght, she remained positive with a strong will to live and an
unwavering faith in God. Te love and prayers of family, friends, and
many supporters continuously pulled her through. She never wore
her pain or feelings on her sleeve but kept an attitude of strength and
positivity.
She leaves to cherish her memories:
two daughters - Dr. Vanessa Richardson and Tifany Richardson;
her mother Cynthia Hendy; her father Horace Hendy;
and three sisters - Roxanne Brazan, Natalie Nichols, and Corinne
Hendy.
Her remaining surviving family members are numerous, but include:
Nieces - Janay Brazan and Corinthia Hendy;
Nephews - Jamal Brazan, Nathaniel Nichols, and Marcus Roberts;
Brother-in-Laws - Patrick Brazan and Samuel Nichols;
Her dearest friends - Earlene Crawford, Carolyn Ward,

Psalms 23
Te Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie
down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for
his names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of
death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staf they
comfort me. Tou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine
enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will
dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

A Message of Tanks
Perhaps you sang a touching song or sat quietly in a chair;
Perhaps you sent lovely fowers, if so we saw them there;
Perhaps you spoke comforting words or helped us to pray;
Perhaps you were not there at all, you just thought of us each day;
Perhaps you prepared some tasty food, or maybe furnished a car;
Perhaps you rendered a service right here or from afar;
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you sincerely, whatever the part.
