RED SEA COAST: The water resources of this area are made up by desalinated seawater and renewable water resources.

PLATTFORM: In this area, only nonrenewable groundwater resources exist. Remote supply from desalinated seawater from the East Coast takes place.
SOUTHERN SHIELD: Significant amounts of rainfall (up to 500 mm/a) in this area enable a water supply that is based on renewable water resources..
