    Tervis Tumblers The LT PTO has extra Tervis Tumblers featuring our school logo for sale. These were purchased as gifts for staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. They are available in two sizes: 16 oz cup w/ lid sells for $20 and the 24 oz cup w/ lid sells for $25. You can order one by sending in a check made out to the LT PTO. Tumblers will also be for sale on Field Day. Once again our school will have a Relay for Life team at the Spencer County event this year on May 31st at Honey Creek Farm. New this year, we are inviting all families to come out and walk from 7:00-8:00 with our staff! Students who walk must sign a waiver before starting, which will be available at the LT site. All students must have a parent/guardian with them. Wear your LT shirts and come and join us! Hope to see you there. Mr. Sisley is still in need of a few more volunteers for Field Day. If you would like to come out and help on this fun day please email him at [email protected]. Field Day is set for Thursday, May 23rd. The annual 6th grade vs. staff volleyball game will be held in the afternoon on this day as well. Academic reports Dibels & SRI reports are coming home this week for most students. Progress reports and benchmark checklists will be sent home in next weeks Friday folder. This will be the last newsletter of the year. Thank you all for your support and another great year. I look forward to seeing you all at events this summer and at registration. I will send another letter this summer with important dates of North Spencer events once things get scheduled. Have a great summer!

    IHSAA Physicals
    Mandatory IHSAA physical exams for Heritage Hills High School and Middle School athletes will be offered on May 28th from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm and July 27th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at Santa Claus Family Medicine (across from Santa Claus Lodge). Cost is $25 (Cash Only). Physical forms and insurance forms will be available at the exams. The physicals are mandatory for all 2013-14 athletes, cheerleaders, and dance team members in grades 7-12. Call 937-4472 for more details. The Friends, of Lincoln Pioneer Village and Museum invite you to attend the "Historical Timeline Rendezvous and Festival" this weekend at the Lincoln Pioneer Village. The Crawford cabin has been dismantled and the Capital Fundraising is on the move to fund the building of a new cabin! Come see! Many new additions to the Museum including the latest exhibit of scenes of Old Rockport: Sat and Sunday 9-5. Sheep Shearing, and "Young Abe Lincoln" Vignette songs 11:30 both days, Spinning, Weaving, Quilting, Knitting, Open Fire Cooking, Historical Interpreters, Sutlers selling their wares, Kids Candle making and building a half-faced camp, guitar and dulcimer sing along, latest addition to the Rendezvous: Dr Eli DeVarouex, Traveling Medicine Man show, Sunday AM Service 930AM at the Olde Pigeon Church, Sunday 2PM Spencer County Cloggers.
