    Effective upon Receipt

    SUMMARY OF CHANGE: This change implements a change to New York Guard


    Directive 5010 concerning OFFICE SYMBOLS & DISTRIBUTION, revises entries
    pertaining to the Civil Affairs Brigade and its Regiments.

    NYGD 5010, 31 January 2001, is changed as follows:

    1. New or changed material:

    a. Page III-1, CHAPTER III, OFFICE SYMBOLS , Paragraph 4. subparagraph d. CHANGE


    to read : "d. NYSG-54. This is the 54th Civil Affairs Brigade, NYG. Further extensions dashed
    or bracketed to signify Headquarters Staff Sections is at the discretion of the CAB Commander."

    b. Page IV-1, CHAPTER, DISTRIBUTION, Paragraph 2, CHANGE to read : "1 copy to


    each Battalion, and Regiment."

    c. Page IV-1, CHAPTER, DISTRIBUTION, Paragraph 3. subparagraph b, CHANGE to read


    : "b. Distribution EB. Shown at Appendix A, this is distribution to just the Major Commands
    (MACOMs). Distribution is 10 copies to Army Division and 5 copies to Air Division and 54th
    CA Brigade."

    d. Page A-5, APPENDIX A DISTRIBUTION E, and EB - NEW YORK GUARD UNITS:


    substitute the attached page in its entirety.

    2. Deleted Material: Page A-5, APPENDIX A DISTRIBUTION E, and EB - NEW YORK


    GUARD UNITS, delete page 5 dated 31 January 2001.

    3. File this change sheet in the front of the publication for reference purposes and annotate the
    RECORD OF CHANGES.
