    Nun.

    By the pen and what they inscribe,


    You are not, [O Muhammad], by the favor of your Lord, a madman.


    And indeed, for you is a reward uninterrupted.


    And indeed, you are of a great moral character.


    So you will see and they will see


    Which of you is the afflicted [by a devil]. [al Qalm 68:1-6]

    - We all know that every single Prophet that came, people mocked them, ridiculed them, beat
    them, some were even killed! The Prophet was no exception. The incident of Taif is famous. The incident of the women throwing garbage and thorns in his path is famous. - The Jews used to greet the Prophet by saying, "As-Samu 'Alaika (i.e., death be upon you), so I understood what they said, and I said to them, "As-Samu 'alaikum wal-la'na (i.e. Death and Allah's Curse be upon you)." The Prophet said, "Be gentle and calm, O 'Aisha, as Allah likes gentleness in all affairs." I said, "O Allah's Prophet! Didn't you hear what they said?" He said, "Didn't you hear me answering them back by saying, 'Alaikum (i.e., the same be upon you)?" [Bukhari] SO MUCH SO THAT ALLAH REVEALED THE VERSE:


    So be patient over what they say [TaHa 20:130]

    - As I briefly mentioned last week, we know what film has been made against the Prophet . We know what the reactions of the Muslims have been. I want to officially respond to the actions of the Muslims. - My Brothers and Sisters in Islam, ask yourself. What would hurt the Messenger of Allah more? The drawing, the saying, the depicting, the insulting of those that deny La Ilaha IlAllah.? They did it during his time. Allah defended his Beloved. Can our speech and actions compare to the Speech of Allah?! Or would this hurt the Prophet more. That those that say La Ilaha IlAllah to deny his Sunnah. To disregard his teachings. - People are out on the streets protesting, yelling, screaming, burning, causing destruction. Is this what the Mercy of the Worlds taught us? The streets are filled with protestors, yet when it comes time for Salah, the masaajid are empty. The day of Jumuah comes and people are shaving their beards. They dont even cover their head when they come for Salah. The Prophet kept his covered all the time. EVEN WHEN HE WENT TO RELIEVE HIMSELF. The Imam says Raise your trousers above your ankles. NOONE DOES IT. WHY?! - Some people may bring up the daleel and say well, its makruh to fold clothes. I ask you, one thing is Makruh. The other is the hadith that Whatever is beneath the ankles is in the Hell fire. WHAT IS MORE SEVERE? - I am not denying that we should feel hurt and defend the Prophet himself. As the Hadith mentions, None of you can truly believe until I am more beloved to Him than his parents, his family, the rest of Mankind. - What if, this whole film coming out was a means for Muslims, all around the world, to build and strengthen their relationship with the Prophet of Allah [SalAllahu Alaihi WaSalam]. Think about it. Even those that have an iota of love for the Prophet [SalAllahu Alaihi WaSalam] feel and felt enraged at even the concept of such a thing. Now, what if internalized this MUHABBAH and made a sincere attemp t to follow in his [salAllahu Alaihi WaSalam] blessed teachings? TODAY, LET'S ALL ACT UPON ATLEAST ONE SUNNAH. Whether this Sunnah is a miswaak, smiling at your brother, eating on the floor, eating with your hands, drinking water sitting down, putting right shoe on first, taking left leg out of pants first, wearing hijab for the day, etc. - MENTION EATING SUNNAHS AND HAND OUT PAPER
