    Found: 1st January 1927. Founders: John Reith (Director-General) & George Villiers (Chairman). Head Quarters: Broadcasting House in The City of Westminster. Served: Worldwide. Services: Television, Radio & Online. To inform, entertain & educate.

    Competition.
    It was the first national broadcasting organisation. Firstly found by 6 telecommunications to mainly broadcast on radio. By 1932 they began to experiment with television broadcast. In 1955, ITV was a competition to BBC. BBC was a monopoly company for radio broadcast and was praised for it's diverse outputs whereas ITV was criticized for not providing high quality programs.
