Fuse replacement lf the mainslead of this applianceis fitted with a BS | 363A | 3amp fused plug,to changea fuse in this type of plug use an A.S.T.A. approved fuse to BS | 362 type and proceed as follows: l. Removethe fuse cover (A) and fuse (B). 2. Fit replacement l34 fuse into fuse cover. 3. Refit both into plug. lmportant: The fuse cover must be refitted when changinga fuse and if the fuse cover is lost the plug must not be used until a correct replacementis fitted. Correct replacementare identifiedby the colour insert or the colour embossedin words on the baseof the plug. Replacement fuse covers are available from your local electrical store.

DRAINAGE SYSTEM

Please contact your dealer or our After-SalesServiceto get the reference of this accessory,which shouldbe used. The connection for direct draining is at the rear of the
dryer.
A. Placean absorbentcloth underneathto collect water spillage. B. Remove the hose located at the lower rear part of the dryer and insert it in the nearby hole. C. Fix the hose (length: 1.5m) to the outlet connection.The height difference between the two drainageconnectionsshould not exceed I m. Notice: To avoid siphoning, the end ofthe hose must not be immersedin the drainwater. Avoid bendingand twisting the hose.

D. Unscrew the 2 screws of the door hingeand remove the door. E. Removing the door lock: Unscrew the 2 screws above and below the door lock system. Lift the door lock from the bottom, sliding it upwards about 1.5cm. and remove it. F. Reversethe door: Fastenthe door on the desiredside with the 2 screws. Take care to screw in horizontalpositionto avoid pinchingof the seal. Insert the door lock systemon the opposite side of the hinge fixation and push it down 1.5cm. H . Fix the 2 screws above and below the door lock system.

Take care not to reverse the senseof the door lock system. The child safetymust be above the locking mechanism. Replace the contact pin in the insideof the door (top).

HEAT EXCHANGER
Before cleaning or carrying out maintenance, switch off the dryer. Clean the heat exchanger at least every month, proceeding as follows: A. Open the door and press the heat exchangerflap button on the bottom of the door entrance. B. The heat exchangerflap opens. C. Fold the heat exchanger handle upwardsto the horizontalposition and remove the heat exchanger. D. Cleanthe heat exchangerunder runningwater by turning it around to reach all sides,especially in front and behind. E. Wipe away dust and lint from the sealsand the heat exchangerplates. F. Removethe lint in the heat exchangerhousing.Keep the drainagehole (left side in front in the housing) free from lint. G. Insert completelythe heat exchangerin its housing(TOP or HAUT mark upwards)keepingthe handlein horizontal position,and then push down the handle. H. Close the flao. The heat exchangeraluminium plates may become discolouredover time. Ng!e! Dependingon the model, the openingofthe flap can be horizontal or vertical.This doesn't changethe functioningof the flap.
