Introduction
It is time for the bookmobile, the rest of you will be listening
to a story about the Inuit.
Does anyone know anything about the Inuit Culture?
Students are expected to listen to the stories of the Inuit
people and ask questions when they feel a need to know more.
They should be respectful to the reader and must stay
relatively still during the story time.
Alright we are going to learn about the Inuit people.
Body
The students are going to listen to Tales From The Tundra. They
will listen to the stories and ask any questions about the Inuit
culture. I will only be reading if the students are quiet and
listening to the story. I will show pictures that are associated
with the book.
The students can ask questions about the Inuit culture. I will
respond to the questions as much as I can but if I do not know
the answer I can always find out the answer and let the
students know later.
Closure
Students will just ask questions about the Inuit Culture. This is
a way to expose themselves to different cultures that are in the
world. It allows them to learn something knew and see what
society has become for some cultures in the world.
