By creating a RAFT students will create a better understanding of the characters point of view.
Students will create different activities that show different results from the book. Ultimately,
develop a deeper understanding for the main characters within the story.
PreAssessment
The students will lead a class discussion on their opinions and ideas of the story. Students will
create their own viewpoint on how they felt about the book and the characters actions.
PostAssessment:
Students will complete their RAFT assignments and have background knowledge of the book
for the final book assessment.
