1.Organization
The teacher greets the students and creates the atmosphere. The pupils greet him back.

2.Warm up and preparation
The teacher sets the lecture objectives. The students are referred to the following quote:

REALISATION OF MEANING
New Material presentation
a) The teacher introduces the PBL term delivering a shorts speech concerning its
history, benefits and application. Then the students are acquainted with the
concept of video making,
b) Before introducing them to the advantages of video-making they are given 1
min to think of 1-2 advantages up with their partner(s), and to share them with
the whole class.

c) When presenting the types of video projects, and the stages of the videomaking process students are asked to listen, participate in short discussions
that will clarify the lecture content.
d) The teacher explains the Web 2.0 tools importance and actuality and introduces

availability, options, advantages, shortcomings.
e) Pre-Viewing Tasks: students are asked to pay attention to video organization
and practicality in EFL teaching and learning.

-at the beginning of the school year students can use Animoto to introduce

or ones they take themselves;

When presenting each Web 2.0 tool the teacher shows a video example that is later blackboars
discussed with students considering its practicality, skills, extension, assessment
criteria, etc.
For example:
1. Animoto Book Trailler:
a) practicality: can be used during literature and reading classes, to summarize the
content of a book, story
b) skills: cognitive, social, digital skills
c) extension: organizing an exhibition of the top popular book trailers
d) assessment criteria: creativity, accuracy, relevance, closeness to the original.

EXTENSION
Students are asked to work in groups. Each groups is required to choose a Web 2.0 tool, to
create a free account and to elaborate a video project based on textbook topics:

3. Group 3. PowToon-How to write a good essay
4. Group 4. STUPEFIX- Education through Film
After the video are created, the students are required to embed them on their blogs in order
to be publicly viewed.
Students are asked to share ideas on adjusting video-making projects in the school
curriculum requirements:
a) How often should this kind of projects be practiced(at the end of week, month,
unit, semester, school year.
b) Which might be the difficulties of these projects implementation?

FEEDBACK
The students are referred to the lecture objectives in terms of assessing their
