Student Taught at Wasatch Elementary, Salt Lake School
District
Planed and implemented learning experiences for 21 Kindergarteners.
Observed ecological contexts of development, behavior, and learning in young
children.
Differentiated instruction, assignments and assessments for a selective mute,
ELLs, and other learning differences (high, med, and lows kids)
Functioned with 5 different languages spoken in my classroom ( French,
Chinese, Spanish, Greek, Bosnian)
Successfully Integrated curriculum through thematic units
Utilized technology for assessments, documentation, and lessons
Successfully implemented a service learning project which included bringing in
a police officer to the class to teach my students about jobs in the community
and what it means to be a good citizen. This led to many meaningful
experiences that utilized their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Escalante Elementary School, Salt Lake School District


10+ hours spent at Escalante Elementary School integrating theatre, music,
visual art and dance into parts of speech in a 4 th grade classroom in a Title 1
school.

Valley View Elementary School, Weber School District


100+ hours spent in Valley View Elementary School volunteering in K-1
classrooms. Implemented lesson plans, observed, and assessed diverse
students in a Title 1 School.

22 + hours spent in Lady of Lourdes Elementary School with a 3 rd grade
student facilitating him through next steps intervention
22+ hours spent in Fremont Elementary School with a 5 th grade student
facilitating her through Higher steps intervention in a Title 1 school.
