    What are the different types of hubs? There are three types of hubs.

    These hubs include an


    active, passive hub, and intelligent hub. Active hubs act as a connector between two regions.
    Passive hubs act like a bridge allowing information to be received. Intelligent hubs are hubs that
    perform the tasks of both an active hub and a passive hub.

    A group of computers and devices on a network that are administered as a unit with common
    rules and procedures. Within the Internet, domains are defined by the IP address. All devices
    sharing a common part of the IP address are said to be in the same domain.

    A directory service from Microsoft that is a part of Windows 2000. It is an implementation of
    Internet standard directory and naming protocols that uses a database engine for transactional
    support, and also supports a variety of application programming interface standards.
