What is a server machine? How many types of servers?
A server is computer that handle requests from different clients.
These request are made through a tcp/ip protocol. Servers are
those computers that are placed at the center of any network
through where it serves its clients. Server maybe different kind
such as

1. Data storage server that usually provides cloud-based


storage system in which its clients don’t need any physical
storage device installed locally on their computes e.g.
Google drive
2. Web servers usually used to host different domains e.g.
Apache HTTP.
3. Email Servers used to host email services to a specific
domain e.g. [email protected]
4. Backend Servers used as back-end services of web-
applications such as Server connectivity and others services
like API (Google Account API).
OS stands for Operating system, referred as logical system that
make computer hardware useable with the help of different
software. It is an efficient system that monitor and maintain
computer hardware. Provide an environment in which different
operations can be performs. There are two types of OS running in
market:
1. Linux
2. Windows

These two operating system are majorly distinct from each other
in every aspect. Linux a command-line interface in which user
interact with it by entering different commands. It also have a
GUI but mostly it is used in CLI mode. The biggest difference
from other operating system is that it is OPEN-SOURCE and
FREE. You can customize it in your preferences. Light-kernel
based operating system usually maintained in C code. Whereas
Window isn’t OPEN-SOURCE and also not FREE. It’s a GUI
based Operating system.
What is a Database?
A database is an organized collection of data stored and accessed
electronically. Small databases can be stored on a file system,
while large databases are hosted on computer clusters or cloud
storage.

There are many types of DB such as:


 Oracle (USA)
 SAP (Germany)
 Window (UK)
ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning. Enterprise
resource planning (ERP) is a process used by companies to
manage and integrate the important parts of their businesses.
Many ERP software applications are important to
companies because they help them implement resource
planning by integrating all of the processes needed to run
their companies with a single. Types of ERP:
 FedEx
 Blue Cross
 Blue Shield.
One of best ERP system is EnterpriseOne. Oracle JD Edwards
EnterpriseOne is one of Oracle's many ERP solutions.
