Time delay valve

Time-delay valves perform such functions as delaying the reversal of systems or the transmission of signals (timedependent control systems). There is usually an upper limit to time delay. The time-delay valve is a component that incor-porates a one-way flow control valve, a reservoir and a 3/2-way valve. The directional control valve determines the particular function of the time-delay valve: If the 3/2-way valve is normally closed, as shown on the valve symbol, the component is used for delayed signal transmission. If there is flow from 1 to 2 in the normal position, the valve delays the signal switch-off.

Pneumatic timers are used when you need to delay the air signal coming in or going out of your air component. Depending on the model chosen, the air time delay may be adjusted from 0.5 to 60 seconds Air Timers are available in either normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) models. Normally closed models are used to time in and normally open models are used to time out.

Pneumatic Proximity Switch (Air Catch Sensor) General

Multi-Tech make back pressure sensing pneumatic proximity switches (Air Limiter) model PPS-01 provides electrical signal through change over contact. These pneumatic proximity switches actuates on the backpressure developed by the air jet impact on the object such as dimensioning, positioning, and working surfaces. It is also known as Part Seat Check Switch.
The distance sensed by this switch is generally dependent on the profile of the surface. This typically being 0.01-0.15mm.
