Dear Parents, On Friday, the students took home their progress reports for the second trimester. Please sign the bottom and return it to school tomorrow. If you have any questions concerning your childs progress, please email me or call the school. I will be sending out another letter regarding the Accelerated Reading program soon. Please note that half the points were due last week (2.5). The students still need to keep reading because they need 5 points by the end of the trimester. Next Sunday, Jan. 26, is the start of Catholic Schools Week. Please help us celebrate by bringing your student to the 9:30 a.m. Mass. The business fair and open house will follow at school. Some of the activities are as follows: that Wednesday, we will have a presentation of James and the Giant Peach at school at 1:00 p.m. Luigi Night will also be on that day at 5:00 p.m. On Friday, we will have a free dress down day. Please look for more information about our activities in the family envelope. We are still collecting items for our used toy sale. Students can bring in gently used toys, books and games (but not stuffed animals). We will let you know the date of the sale when it is finalized. The proceeds will go to Catholic Relief Services. Finally, please remember to send in boots, along with a hat, scarf and gloves with your student. Even if there is not a lot of snow on the ground, the playground has been wet and slippery. Thank you for your assistance! Mrs. Patsavas
