Easter origami rabbits

Cut a piece of paper card 30cm x 30cm. Fold it in half to form a triangle.

Fold your paper card in two again to form a fold as shown. Then open it out again. Place it with the point upwards.

Fold the bottom or your triangle upwards, as shown to form a boatlike shape.

Fold each of the bottom corners, in the direction of the arrows shown. Make sure the middle edges touch and secure the back with a piece of sticky tape.

Things you need: *scissors

*glue *sticky tape *square coloured card - we used 30cm x 30cm *small Easter eggs *coloured tissue paper or cotton wool balls for filling *button eyes - we used joggle eyes from a craft shop *pipecleaners or black card for whiskers *black card for the nose

To make a little stand for your rabbit, fold the bottom point upwards. Turn over and fold the top of the rabbits head inwards so it has a flat top. Glue on eyes. Glue on pipecleaners or black card for whiskers. Put shreaded tissue paper or cotton wool balls into the top and fill with little eggs.
