7.0 Preparation of Programs 7.

1 The Baseline Program


The program to be accepted by the Engineer / Client shall be in two parts: Logic Diagrams & the Time scaled network. Logic diagrams shall be approved by the Engineer / Client prior to the development of the Timescaled network. These shall be developed using techniques acceptable to the Engineer / Client and shall show as far as reasonably practicable the following: 1. _ The activities in all work packages including those by the principal sub-contractors and suppliers, statutory undertakers, those contractors and suppliers directly employed by the Employer and others. 2. _ The earliest and latest start and finish dates for every activity in each work package. 3. _ Activities shall include all scope activities and any activities or time durations expected in addition to scope activities. 4. _ Access dates for each phase or section. 5. _ The earliest and latest start and finish dates for each phase or section, including dates when the contractor plans to complete work to allow the infrastructure contractor to do their work. 6. _ Milestone and Key Dates. 7. _ Holiday periods. 8. _ Dates by which shop drawings to be produced by the contractor or sub-contractors or suppliers will be submitted to the Engineer for acceptance and dates by which acceptance of such shopdrawings will be required by the Contractor, allowing time for submittals, resubmittals and reviews as per the Contract. 9. _ Dates by which samples to be produced by the Contractor will be submitted for approval by the Engineer and dates by which approval of such samples will be required by the contractor allowing time for submittals, re-submittals and reviews. 10. _ Procurement periods and delivery dates for the major items of goods, plant and materials. 11. _ Dates by which the work will be ready for testing by the Engineer/Client. 12. _ Details and dates of any information required from the Employer. 13. _ The work contained in the defined provisional sum, if any. 14. _ Testing & Commissioning periods. 15. _ Inter-discipline interface / handing over milestones. 16. _ Provisions for float, time risk allowances, quality control procedures, health and safety requirements as set out in the Contract.
