John Anderson Wall Street Journal Leaves a tangle of loose threads as it stumbles toward a conclusion that doesn’t quite feel like one. Being ghosted by a tech-based plotline is no way to start a new year. Jan 3, 2025 Full Review Kylie Northover The Age (Australia) Chock-full of implausible but fun revelations, Missing You has all the Coben hallmarks, a great cast, and, unusually, something of a heartwarming ending. Rated: 4/5 Jan 3, 2025 Full Review Lucy Mangan Guardian You won’t remember a thing about it 10 minutes after the credits roll, but that’s OK. You know the puzzle got solved and you had fun. What more do you need? Rated: 3/5 Jan 3, 2025 Full Review Chris Wasser Sunday Independent (Ireland) Intentionally soapy and inherently ridiculous, Missing You knows exactly what it’s doing. Why else would it arrive at a time of the year when none of us are in the mood for anything serious? Jan 3, 2025 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Missing You is a solid thriller that may have you shaking your head at some of its twists. But good performances and an intriguing premise will make some of those silly twists easier to take. Jan 2, 2025 Full Review Austin Burke Austin Burke/Flick Fan Nation Missing you is rarely dull, delivering one twist after another, but nothing feels cohesive. The dialogue and tone are all over the place, to an almost satirical degree. Rated: 5/10 Jan 2, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Horrible series! Waste of time! Acting is hideous! No plot or anything interesting! The main character is ridiculously written and portrayed! Don’t waste your time! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/05/25 Full Review Kishen A The worse Harlen coben tv series. Awful acting, terrible dialogue and silly storytelling. It’s not even fit for a low grade cable tv channel let alone Netflix. Whoever did the script should be let go. It’s like the actors were forced to make this show and didn’t want to be there. Very very surprised it made it to production. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review M M I was so excited to watch this! Cast looked interesting but unfortunately the writing and plot didn’t land for me. Was not a solid story the cast did their best with what they had honest a shame. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review robert g Can’t take plot too seriously - well acted - get into plot line and enjoy it - well done Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review Benyamin M How is this the Number 1 TV Show on Netflix?😭😂 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review Will S Picture this: you are writing a TV show, and all you need to do to make it work is re-introduce a character to the protagonist after 11 years. Most people might suggest a run-in at the mall, or maybe an unexpected encounter on vacation. The writers of this show took the more creative route, to say the least. To tie that last thread together, why not create a massive, brutally violent catfishing operation run by a Best in Show-winning dog breeder which just so happens to use the protagonist’s former lover’s profile to target her (among dozens of others who are chained in a barn, starved and burned in ovens once murdered after refusing to hand over $25k)? What a genius piece of writing! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/04/25 Full Review Read all reviews
