Welcome to my stop on the Quilt Block Mania Blog Hop. Each of the designers participating in the hop are sharing a block pattern inspired by this month’s theme, which is Sports.
This is my sixth year participating in QBM, and I hope you’ve enjoyed my free block pattern each month! If you’ve missed any, the patterns for previous months are available in my shop.

I’m not much one for sports, but I’ve always loved ice skating. So when the Sports theme was announced for this month, I knew I had to design a block for my favorite sport.
I made my block in traditional colors, but you can choose your own colors to feature in your skates! Aren’t these pink skates adorable?
I call my block Ice Skates. It uses fusible applique techniques. I hope you’ll make my block and tag me on social media @inquiringquilter!
