As it happens to be a TV movie, one should not be too stern when assessing. Surely, there is plenty of illogical "logic" in the rather improbable story. The motivation of the antagonists successfully eludes my capability of detection.
What makes WOTR worthwhile for me after all, is the presence of Sarah Butler. An accomplished actress, imbued with stamina and character - let alone her stunning beauty - who is ignored by major producers and filmmakers. Why? I truly do not know.
Therefore it is pity the only significant motion picture she appeared in is the remake of I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE. Here she proved how refined her thespian skills are - her intonation and enunciation especially. But, the thing is, ISOYG is a film per se unwatchable for many.
To sum up, I hope things will change and Sarah Butler will be better spotted and garner more attention. Looking forward to A movies starring this promising talented actress.

I am in the process of watching this movie and I can NOT get past the fact that this woman has absolutely NO childhood, high school college, neighborhood friends, distant cousins, old church members, old boyfriends, cashiers at a store....ANYONE who can vouch for her true identity. Can anyone just show them an old yearbook? Yes, she found her old college professor who is coming in town to tell the detectives her true identity and this is her only hope. Bless your heart, Lifetime, these unbelievable plot lines are just outrageous. But we still watch. :)
Incredible that there are writers out there who produce this kind of movie! The story line works but the details are ridiculous...Try again....

Sarah Butler is a fantastic actress and the others in the film are as well, but the story is just horribly stupid on too many levels.
The writers were just pumping out anything for a story, regardless how much sense or logic it actually has.
Also, because it was filmed in and around Vancouver, where they moved to should be called Vancouver and then her troubles would be slightly more believable due to the verification of her ID.
Having to cross borders and losing your ID and replacing it is difficult, but even then, there would most likely be a record of it at the border crossing.
Being in the US, as a US citizen, verifying her self is much easier - and especially with drivers licenses, banks, and a variety of other means.
The implausibility on this movie is just far too high - and that's what the writers must have been when they were composing this story...high or drunk or just totally bad at their jobs.
Once again - Sarah Butler good...story bad.
If it didn't have Sarah in it, I would have easily bypassed this for something much more entertaining.
If you want to watch this, leave your brain outside the door and then take a seat and gaze into the screen like the sheep you are.
Anyone with a brain that actually uses it will find this movie totally ridiculous - but I guess that not so smart people need to be entertained too - and this is the ideal movie for them.

First of all, is this a comedy or drama? Confusing. Watching this, their are so many loopholes and plain silly plot lines. Here is a woman, not bad performance, trying to disguise herself, by adding a baseball cap and that is it. Allowing her long flowing hair to hang in front as usual. So, what's the disguise? Then she has a hoodie again with her long locks hanging outside the hood. Any fool would recognize her anywhere. Then there's the faxct she can beat up a brute with the twist of the foot in his privates. Usual LMN way of defeating a man. I always have said what if a guy kicks the woman in her privates? Has this ever been done on LMN? But then I am getting trivial. There is no surprise here and acting is fair given the material they have to work with. I give it 3 stars for attempt to make this believable.

A real waste of an idea with real potential. You could drive a semi through the plot holes in this movie. Very disappointing.

This movie kept my attention from start to finish. Good plot. I doubt that any real Lifetime movie watchers will regret this one.

First, Sarah Butler is the main character. If you like watching Sarah run, fight and hide, you would like this movie. The story is well told. And the premise is
If nobody knows you. How could you probe your identity? The society also tends to choose who you are. Who is the good or the bad girl. Would you use questionable methods to find the truth? I didn't like much some action scenes, for moments I supposed to watch a very low budget movie. But the movie survive with a brave mom and a surprising little girl. Give it a chance. Enjoy thinking haven lost your identity. What would be like, if only the people you know is against you, and you're lonely crying for help?
