A Woman on the Run had a pretty good premise and moved along fairly well. I could picture myself thinking, "What would I do?" in a situation like that. But there were quite a few stupid happenings. Like did Naomi have NO friends who could vouch for her? Her one "friend" Ben got his comeuppance. Her only other friend/witness was Oscar, and she left him! Later he shows up in the nick of time. That escape was fairly easy. Whew! She's a famous author and lived in suburbia. She didn't know anyone?
The goon, Lyle, was an inept jerk. I guess that's right along par for the bad couple who hired him. But you know what, if it was all too logical, it would have been a boring movie.
