I loved this book. For those who said she got off too easy, I believe you don't get how addictive these drugs are and how easily users make terrible choices. This book added to my understanding, compassion, and grace to those who become involved in drugs, and I become less judgmental. I am more upset with our prison system and the lack of help to stop the drugs and give support to those released. Lara's recovery was something worth sharing. Her s ...more
