It’s easier to be a ghost. You can be romanticized, adored, can grow in the memory instead of diminish in reality.
I find that this is so true. When we are gone, the memory of who we are isn’t always the truth. People tend to overlook the flaws and glorify the individual. Sometimes this is justified and sometimes it isn’t. It all comes down to the relationship that the deceased had with those who remember him or her.
