Since I'm close to wrapping up three other challenges, I'm going to give this one a shot. Like several others, I'll just post as I go.
Another royal title to include would be Sheihk. For some reason over the last few years royal desert romances have been popular with Harlequin.
Would a Scottish Highland Laird work? I've got alot of those, although not sure how many of the Laird's got into the title of the book.

Sheik is more a title of honor given to the eldest male in the family. It literally means 'elder'. I am not sure how that translate in romance novels?
My reading is about to be curtailed for the next two months, but I'll give it a go anyhow. (go ahead and tell me I'm starting two weeks early. I joined too late to have a real go at the jungle challenge so this is my first quarterly.)

Briansgirl,
I'll accept Sheikh and Laird as nobility title. They are honorific by nature, so I think they'll meet the requirements.
Kenjii,
Thanks for the explanation on the word "sheikh". That's added insight.
Jim,
Welcome to the challenge. However, this challenge does not start until Dec 1st. So no reading yet.

I'm in as well - I don't need an excuse to read Historical Romance, so that should make it easier to finish this challenge.

Harlequin romances use Sheihk/Sheik as a desert title for Prince. Correct usage or not, that's what they use.

I'm with you on that. I haven't read a historical romance in forever. I've got enough sitting on my shelves though to participate, but there wasn't much to pick from!

I've got 100's of Harlequin Romances of all different kinds to sort through. Some on shelves and I got 5 apple boxes full of the really old white cover ones. lol That's what I get for $1 bag, bag sales at the annual friends of the library sale. Wether they are any good or not is still in question. lol
BJ and Shannon: I'll take any suggestions you have on HR. I am open to anything.
I read one RS with a sheik in it, not impressed. LOL. Could have been the author. I have another "sheik" stashed somewhere I can put in this challenge since it can be used.

Gotta think of those PNR or even UF series that have LORD and LADY in the title[i.e Lords of the Underworld:]. That helps! When all else fails. I will try and use HR for the most part. A challenge is to challenge ME.
Kenjii, here are some HR possibilities - most of these authors have LOT of other books, but I'm only listing those with royal title words in them:
Julie Ann Long: The Runaway Duke
Anne Gracie: The Stolen Princess and His Captive Lady
Julie Garwood: The Lion's Lady and Prince Charming
Liz Carlyle: Never Lie to a Lady and Never Deceive a Duke
Loretta Chase: Lord Perfect, Not Quite A Lady, Lord of Scoundrels
Karen Hawkins: How to Treat a Lady, How to Abduct a Highland Lord
Julia Quinn: The Duke And I, The Viscount Who Loved Me, The Lost Duke of Wyndham
Julia London: The Hazards of Hunting a Duke, The Perils of Pursuing a Prince, The Dangers of Deceiving a Viscount
Sabrina Jeffries: In the Prince's Bed, To Pleasure a Prince, One Night With a Prince
Lisa Kleypas: Lady Sophia's Lover
Johanna Lindsey: Once a Princess
Celeste Bradley has The Royal Four quartet about His Majesty's spies
Victoria Alexander had some with royal titles but I haven't kept any of those
Except for the last two authors, I've only listed the ones I've read and kept - Shannon will likely have many more.

I'm in - but considering my other reading challenges [ie 27 children's book manuscripts by mid-January:]... I'm going to wallow in re-reads. My ex-flatmate brought over a box of old Harlequin Regency romances I'd stored under our house... so, between them & others on my shelves...
So it's not too easy - I'm not cross-challenging these ones.
1. Emperor Mage by Tamora Pierce.
2. Lord Tom by Patricia Lynn.
3. The Tin Princess by Philip Pullman.
4. Thea's Marquis by Carola Dunn.
5. The absentee earl by Clarice Peters.
6. Sometimes a lady by Lnda Randall Wisdom.
7. A Susceptible Gentleman by Carola Dunn.
8. The Prince and the Showgirl by JoAnn Ross.
9. King of Swords by Lindsey McKenna.
10. Kenton's Countess by Janeane Jordan.
