Want to participate in Fantastic February? Then this is the place to be!

Simply post your TBR - aka the list of fantasy novels you want to read - here and you're officially signed up!

Don't forget to adapt your TBR-comment throughout the challenge.
Strike the books you've read and add the books you're adding to your jar should you decide on putting in more options.

Feli (felifirefly) I have so many Fanatsy books on my TBR that it's hard to decide. Also, as I am currently reading many very large books, I am going to put some lighter YA fantasy on my list for Feb (this isn't what I normally read, so it's an opportunity for me to get those done). If you want to BR any of these, just let me know!

- Shadow and Bone
- Siege and Storm
- Ruin and Rising
- Fire and Heist
- State of Sorrow (January Jam left over)
- The Lies of Locke Lamora (only if there is time left)
+ getting started on Fire & Blood

message 5: by Cat (new)

Cat {Wild Night In} (neko_nemo) This all depends on which fantasy novels I can get my grubby mitts on.

Ideally, I'd read "Dragonfly Falling" and "The Book Thief". If I can't find the former, I'll at least read the latter though :)

message 42: by Laia (last edited Oct 21, 2019 07:20AM) (new)

Laia Pérez (laiaisreading) (laiaisreading) So, I have like a hundred fantastic-themed-books to read in my shelves. But this summer I'm going to a convention here in Spain dedicated to sci-fi and fantasy authors so I'm hoping to have read some of their books by then. Also, I'm adding all those books that I really want to read this year. I'm a mood reader so...

- All the birds in the sky
- Half a King/ Half the World/ a War
- Neverwhere
- Equal Rites
- The final empire
- The return of the king

- The wrath & the dawn/The rose & the dagger
- Glass Sword/ King's Cage/ War Storm
- Shadow and Bone / Siege and Storm/ Ruin and Rising
- Six of Crows/ Crooked Kingdom
- Crave the Mark/ The Fates Divide

Already Read:
02/04: All the Birds in the Sky by Charlie Jane Anders Half a King (Shattered Sea, #1) by Joe Abercrombie
02/25: Half the World (Shattered Sea, #2) by Joe Abercrombie

Work has been keeping me busy, so I couldn't read a lot. I'm also a moody reader so I've been reading some books off this TBR. Really happy with the results.

I really enjoyed All the Birds in the Sky. Still not quite sure WHAT actually happened, but I enjoyed it.

Haven't read Half a King yet, but I highly rec Joe Abercrombie 110%. Loved his First Law series.

message 45: by Megan (last edited Mar 01, 2019 02:17AM) (new)

Megan | 26 comments Oooh, I'm looking forward to this!

Lady Smoke
These Rebel Waves (DNF)
The Black Witch
Spellslinger
Bring Me Their Hearts (DNF)
Reign of the Fallen
Half a King

That's just to start me off, and then if I somehow manage to finish all of those - while still reading other books alongside of them - I'll start picking some from my incredibly-optimistic back-up TBR list:

Red Sister
Strange the Dreamer
The Rose Crown
Stolen Songbird
Moroda
Air Awakens

Most of these books have been gathering virtual dust on my Kindle, so it will be good to knock them off the TBR list.

message 46: by Francesca (new)

Francesca Calarco | 8 comments Very cool seeing everyone's lists!

There are my main Fantastic February TBRs:

3. Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones
4. Kabu Kabu - Nnedi Okorafor
5. Children of Blood and Bone - Tomi Adeyemi (The hype on this website for this one is intense)

In case I finish, I also have some backups in mind...
1. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - J.K. Rowling (Re-Read)
2. Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There - Lewis Carroll
3. Six of Crows - Leigh Bardugo (Too many of you seem to like this one to ignore it)
4. Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman
5. Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell - Susanna Clarke
