4.25 stars! 🌟 Oh. My. Gosh. My December Darling was EVERYTHING I needed in a Christmas read! 🎄✨ It’s like unwrapping the most perfect gift—super sweet, heartwarming, and cozy AF. I literally couldn’t stop reading! Even though it’s a novella and on the shorter side, Lauren Asher packed SO much heart into this! Luke and Catalina’s chemistry? Off the charts!! 💖 I was rooting for them from the first page. Their love story is all about the little things, and let me tell you, I was swooning HARD. 😍

Let’s talk Catalina first—my heart literally melted for her! 🥺 She’s shy and a little guarded, and people assume she’s cold, but once she opens up? Total gem. I felt her, you know? Watching her let Luke in was SO satisfying. 🌸 And then there’s Luke. Chef’s kiss—he’s the PERFECT guy. Sweet, thoughtful, and totally tuned into Catalina’s every need. He buys her favorite Lego set (like, how adorable??) and even makes her Christmas dessert. 🧸💕

Their relationship isn’t rushed or forced, like we sometimes see in insta-love stories. It’s just two people finding their way to each other in the most gentle, comforting way. Yes, they fall fast, but it never felt over the top. Plus, there’s no unnecessary “third-act breakup” drama. THANK YOU, Lauren Asher, for keeping it real. 🙌

Also, I was super skeptical about the whole “sister marrying my ex” thing at first, but honestly? It was handled SO well! I was totally on board by the end. 👏
