** spoiler alert **
I've stayed up all night reading this. Nevertheless I still don't felt it was that good. Some things didn't make sense at all some things felt Rush and I hated that final discussion I felt that if he truly knew her by then he wouldn't have made those remarks upon her he was so smart but he couldn't resolve the missing piece like come on! More so when I was expecting groveling from his part and it was cut quite short. she forgaved him quite easily even though she claimed that it was going to take time for her to do so so yeah
it would have been better for me if she would have told him instead of making him hurt her in order to find the truth or even better I've thought that he was going to figure it out.
Also I hated this phrase of him " I slept with everything that I saw just to forget you " like disgusting. saying that he wanted her so badly but his father was the villain in the story and the reason of why he did the things he did to her so my question is why after 8 years of not talking to one another he behaved the way he did with her? like supposedly you grown up you're not a kid anymore so I felt it was like total immature of him of speaking to her the way he did ,of taunting her and making her ashamed of herself and her situation of being angry at her and not telling her why. So yeah I just didn't believe the whole" I loved you since I was a kid" as even him his brother tells him "oh she was your friend back then" and he denies it completely and says awful things about her character. I was like why didn't he tell him that yeah they were friends and all but then fall apart? That would have made me believe that there was still some love left. As it was it just felt like it was one-sided honestly so when he says his story I was like sorry dude I don't believe it plus it was soo cringy.
I liked that they didn't fool around from the beginning I like the boundaries and all that and the slow burn. But yeah just in overall I wasn't a big fan.
