I love this series soooo much. The French is sooo nice to read. It’s so wild that these are real anecdotes from a real person that lives in Paris rn, like they’re CLOSE, walking distance. It’s so cute that Esther gave like a critique of this series on herself. Her conception of money is so fun too, she gets 5€ a month from her dad and she spends it on her parents cuz she doesn’t see the use for it. And she’s shocked at how some other people live, like her friend getting 500€ A MONTH and they complain about being broke and everything. It was also fun to see like a surprise reappearance from Cassandra, apparently she’s doing ok now. And it’s also funny how Esther admits that this book is filtered a good amount, there’s this comic in the book where she corrects the language she uses actually “JE M’EN BALEKKKK” is so funny.

My favourite one from the book is her older brother being annoying to the dad while he’s driving. That anecdote made me laugh, digging into everything he’s saying “PUISSANCE D’ANALYSE MENTALE” was the funniest thing ever. It’s funny how we can literally see Antoine growing up as well. Esther says he’s less weird and annoying now, out of his rapper phase but still listening to their music but now also entered his conspiracy theory phase LMFAO. I wish this comic gets translated in English, I’m sure it’ll have a crazy success. Heck I’ll translate it into English for free if they want.
