“Well, well” That was all Mister Tipton murmured, in such a low voice that even GRRM couldn't hear it, when his knife got The Beast in the eye.
Although Sour Billy Tipton was just one of the characters, but he was the one that I was obsessed with. Despicable old Sour Billy! But I love you for that, for being such a monstrous abominable creature, for waking in me a great deal of HATRED which I didn't know I’m capable of. Oh Billy, whoever will I hate and love without you?
To despise a fiction character so badly needs a master to create it: Ladies and Gentlemen je vous présente the great creator of all THE BLOODMASTER George R.R. Martin! I haven’t experienced such a hatred toward a character in years thanks to GRRM (even if I did I don’t remember!), and now all that I can imagine is that one painful death was not enough, and in my mind I go on killing Billy with a thousand ways of torturing to death!!!
OK OK! I think… I over reacted! I’m still in the Fevre of the novel and I still feel my red thirst to spill Billy’s blood is not faded. But…! never mind.

"Well, well" same as always your review drives me to start reading fantasy books, but as you know I'm so lazy to start :(
I usually write a review if I harshly disagree or hate the characters, ideas, or anything in the book. In this case I hated a character but also i loved him and GRRM for that.
and no, i'm not a masochist! :D

I loved Fevre Dream as well. Wonderfully written.

It is an interesting talent to create characters you hate and you keep on reading; and kill characters you love and you keep on reading ... but that's George R.R. Martin ;-)
Great Review! In some parts, I actually was wondering why TSoIF became so famous but people don't notice this book!

Oh, yes. He just keeps killing every lovely character and we just keep reading and waiting! That surely is a talent!

Martin ;-)"Kevin, I strongly recommend this book. Of course here you won't see much about the death your favorite characters since there are not many like ASOIAF. But there are detestable characters such as our dear despicable Mr. Tipton whom you'll hate him deeply. Your hate toward him is guaranteed! but at the same time you applaud GRRM for his talent in creating such characters. Yeah that's George R.R. Marin :)
