Nine Ladies Dancing (Belles of Christmas, #4)

Deborah M. Hathaway does it again with another delightfully romantic Christmas book! Nine Ladies Dancing has exceeded my expectations with a friends to lover trope that has a unique plot to go along with it. It was fun and festive with all the swoony elements that I have come to adore about regency romances.
Meg is once again left alone by her parents who run off to Scotland every year without her. They leave her in the company of the Pratt family who by all accounts are the loveliest people. Meg is surrounded by kindness and love and practically grew up with Matthew and Louisa Pratt. This year is different through since she discovered that she is in love with Matthew. The only problem being that Matthew does not see her like that. Or does he? I loved the dynamic between these characters. Meg and Matthew share a close bond with teasing banter and funny jokes. As the story unfolds so does Matthews budding feelings for Meg. Some of the scenes they had together were sweet and swoony. I was especially hooked on the last few chapters of this story which culminated to the most perfect ending!
Between snowball fights, ice skating, fun games, and kissing boughs this book had everything. I loved the entire Pratt family, especially Louisa who was Meg’s unofficial sister. Meg was just a beautiful and gracious person, and I loved watching her get her happily ever after with her love Matthew. If you enjoy Christmas books, especially regency ones, then I cannot recommend this one enough to you.
