While I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t anything special. I also don’t think it needed a cliffhanger and get drawn out for another book, much less 3 books.

I read it today, I rate it 2 ⭐️ but felt too lazy to write a review 🤭. That sometimes happens with my reviews but I'll give you a summary.

I've read worse booktok books. This was fine. The first 20% was entertaining but the 80%? Well... think of all the random ideas or tropes booktok girlies have ever been hyped about: grumpy boss, sunshine fmc, a dragon, calling fmc love, mixing of poisons along with some mystery, hello-brother moment, it has always been her, who did this to you, woah it was a family betrayal all along, etc they are all thrown into this book.

It's not bad, I just think the book didn't have a mind of its own so to speak. It was fine and I could have lived without reading it. It also had some pretty awkward jokes. 🤭

I tried reading it.. got maybe 50 pages in and just couldn’t get into it. I’ll try again in October 😂 I hope you like it!
