I might delete this review because I don't like giving 4-star ratings for ARCs because I worry it's not high enough (why? I don't know). Anyway, the writing is wonderful and Britton sure knows how to develop characters individually and then create swoony romance between them that is believable and romantic but also really unique from other books with perhaps similar tropes☺️

However:
None of the following words were in this book: 😪
"cock" (nothing except for ch. 1 with the word "cocks" or the word "cocked" elsewhere in the book)
"quim"
"stradd" (for straddle & straddling... nothing)
"suck" (only for "sucked the air out")

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good closed door romance (like a Mimi Matthews book) but when it's not closed door, I want all the vocabulary!!!
