Skye and Amelia are taking us down the Rabbithole of the Morelli and Constantine family saga with the elusive Carter Morelli’s story. And, Mother of God, Professor Morelli is all about taking control and June and Theo are here for it all. Carter is walking sex, June is innocence personified, and Theo is feral and this Tarzan retelling is so delicious. I read this book in one day… one day y’all and I have zero regrets. The energy of the book is on HIGH from the first pages and does not stop until, well, the cliffy. So, hold on to your hearts because the unknown will haunt us until we get the conclusion.
Natural Disaster picks up where Force of Nature left us.. Theo “saving” June. Theo’s betrayal has both Carter and June hurt and confused. We get Theo’s back story. We are reminded how he has spent the majority of his life in seclusion.
Carter quickly realizes his cover is blown and the real reasons why June would be taken. All signs point right back to him.
June knows Carter will come for her and she is prepared to fight until he does.
Carter reaches out to the one person on earth he can trust explicitly- his brother Leo.
These three need to work as a unit to survive long enough to get back to New York.
But, before that they must face an entire other truth- the depths of their feelings for one another.
