Trenton Corral is in charge of the NYC Thanksgiving Day Parade again this year and his goal is to make it better than ever.
Problem is his assistant just quit 6 weeks prior to the parade. To find a replacement he has looked everywhere and interviewed anyone who was nearly passable but no one is.
While at Mallory Pumpkin Farm seeing to his 1000 pumpkin order for the parade he watches the woman Macy Wright loading the pumpkins all by herself. He finds out she is the owner with her father and it is just the two of them right now. Long story short, he offers her the Assistants job which will help him and the money will help her.
I loved reading this and their back and forth like a tennis match to see how they would ever get to their HEA. It is a standalone easy read.
