Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.
I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.
Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.
You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.
Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.
Treyton Corral is in charge of New York’s Thanksgiving Day parade and has just lost his assistant with a little over a month to put it all together. Macy Wright is caring for her family’s farm almost single-handedly and is running out of time before they have to sell because no bank will give them another loan. The two meet when Treyton comes to Mallory Farms to pick up a thousand pumpkins for the parade, and guess who loads them all into wagons? Macy. This is such a grand meet cute!
With nudging from his brother Blane, Treyton drives out to the farm and offers Macy the job, which comes with a hefty salary. Without more than a blink about how the money might save the farm, Macy holds out her hand to shake on the deal, and just like that, they begin their journey together.
With homage to “My Fair Lady,” Trey playing the role of Henry Higgins and Macy as Eliza Doolittle, they spend the first day shopping for clothes more acceptable than her overalls. Then they fall into a very efficient professional relationship - until they fall for each other sexually. And there’s also the issue of how Macy will be able to hold down two full-time jobs, one in Manhattan and one on the farm where her crotchety, stubborn, change-resistant father reigns. What drama!
Without giving away more details, instead let’s just say that readers will not be disappointed with this novel penned by two extremely gifted authors. Weston and Ali Parker weave a tightly-knit plot that involves funny, flirty, savvy, snarky banter, luxuriant landscapes, and a look, including a surprise celebrity, into the secret world of the famed New York Thanksgiving Day parade. Add in some steamy, passionate romance, and what’s not to like?
I love, love, love this story! I oohed and aahed between sighs and smiles as I rushed to see if Macy and Treyton eventually find their HEA, and I bet on a wagon of pumpkins that you already know the answer. Do yourself a favor and get into the holiday spirit with “Bad Boy Bachelor Thanksgiving.”
I received this book as an ARC reviewer and voluntarily leave my honest opinion.
“Bad Boy Bachelor Thanksgiving” is an opposites attract, city boy – country girl, work placement moments from the writing team of Weston Parker and Ali Parker. It’s part of an ongoing ’Bad Boy Bachelor’ series focusing on different holidays. Each book is a standalone, and they all have been consistently entertaining. It’s a fun holiday read but could be enjoyed at any time.
Trey has the full-time job of putting together New York City’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The book version is somewhat different from the real-life version, but it is equally as daunting a project to be spearheaded by one person. There is a lot of pressure, and he feels all of it. Although he’s been doing this for years, he can’t find an assistant who is capable, smart, able to be proactive, and has all the other qualities he needs. When he goes out to a farm in a more rural area to pick up a thousand pumpkins he ordered for the parade, he encounters Macy, the quintessential farmer’s daughter who is basically running the entire operation herself. Macy is struggling to keep the farm in business because her father won’t modernize, and they really can’t afford to modernize it anyway. When Trey sees in her qualities that he needs in an assistant, he makes her a job offer that she can’t bear to turn down. As the story progresses, we learn much more about bothered main characters, losses in their pasts, their immediate family members, and their internal struggles. The physical attraction between Trey and Macy further complicates everything.
I liked how much Trey and Macy each recognized and appreciated the good qualities in each other. They each have somebody in their respective lives to confide in who helps them face the hard truths when necessary. There are a couple of grand gestures in the story, one of which might even make you sniffle a little. The ending and the epilogue were great. Now I’m left hoping the authors will let us see Macy’s best friend and Trey’s brother again in another story because they were both intriguing characters.
I love this series of "Bad Boy's" who find love unconventionally through different holidays. Treyton puts on the annual Thanksgiving Day parade. He needs an assistant who can not only keep up with his hectic schedule, but someone who is a hard worker. His current assistant is not cutting it. She quits, and he's left doing the rest of the work for the parade on his own. That means he needs a new one. Enter Macy.
Treyton and Macy meet at her farm. She sold his team hundreds of pumpkins for a Thanksgiving Parade. Plus, he needs to see how well her float is going for the parade. When he sees how well she handles the farm, he sees someone who would be perfect as his assistant. Macy needs money to keep the farm going. It's all she and her father have left. Working for Treyton will help make that possible.
You can see the chemistry between the two of them immediately. But it was that slow-burn effect that draws you into this story. Macy changes a little for Treyton. But it's the way he changes for her that makes everything so sweet. You will love this romance between two opposites. Almost like a My Fair Lady story.
A wonderful book, where a farm girl brings a high class, rich businessman down to his knees. You don’t know what you’re missing until you find it. And Trey and Macy are “it” for each other. A handsome, rich, perfectionist man, who cannot deal with mistakes from other people. When Trey meets Macy, she is unlike anyone he has ever met. Down to earth farm girl, who is not into glitz and glamour and is just happy to work on the farm. This book is the reason opposites attract. The more they think they are not alike the more they find that they are alike and want the same things. Trey is head over heels in love with Macy but has never been in love before so he doesn’t know what it is. Macy craves Trey like most people crave chocolate and puts him in his place which no one has ever done before. It is great to see their attraction grow and grow and grow into what turns out to be a great happily ever after. I loved it.
Trenton Corral is in charge of the NYC Thanksgiving Day Parade again this year and his goal is to make it better than ever. Problem is his assistant just quit 6 weeks prior to the parade. To find a replacement he has looked everywhere and interviewed anyone who was nearly passable but no one is. While at Mallory Pumpkin Farm seeing to his 1000 pumpkin order for the parade he watches the woman Macy Wright loading the pumpkins all by herself. He finds out she is the owner with her father and it is just the two of them right now. Long story short, he offers her the Assistants job which will help him and the money will help her. I loved reading this and their back and forth like a tennis match to see how they would ever get to their HEA. It is a standalone easy read.
Macy and Trey could be the textbook definition of “opposites”. They’re also a little bit of a retelling of The Country Mouse and the City Mouse. Though, at the heart of who each one is, they’re more alike than those comparisons would credit. They both value hard work and cherish their family and closest friends. It’s certainly not all smooth sailing for them, but I kind of loved watching them as they sorted through the issues, solved the snafus, and showed each other who they truly were. I think I may have fallen just as deeply in love with them as they did with each other. Their ending was perfectly adorable and I kind of want to see what stories the author can spin for the people closest to them now. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Opposites Attract/Boss Romance just in time for the holidays
Bad Boy Bachelor Thanksgiving is a great read to kick off the holidays. Macy Wright is a pumpkin farmer trying desperately to save her family’s legacy farm when she meets Treyton, who’s company is responsible for planning the New York City Thanksgiving Parade. After Treyton experiences Macy’s work ethic firsthand when picking up pumpkins for parade floats, he hires her to replace an assistant who couldn’t handle the demanding boss.
I loved Macy, she was such a hard worker and is doing everything she can to keep her farm, and her dad, above water including crazy commutes into the city and continuing to run the farm singlehandedly.
Give yourself the gift of this sweet romance to kick off your holiday reading.
Treyton is an alpha billionaire businessman from Manhattan who’s in charge of the Thanksgiving Day parade. Unfortunately his assistant quit. He seems to have trouble keeping a reliable assistant. He heads to Mallory Farms where he meets the gorgeous Macy. She assists him with his 1,000 pumpkin order and accepts his job offer but immediately worries that her resistant to change heavy handed father will take reign of the farm. Trey and Macy work together amazingly until the chemistry starts flying physically. Trey has to prove to Macy that they’re perfect at work and outside of it. Ali and Weston have done it again with another fantastic read. You won’t want to miss out on this great holiday romance.
Bad Boy Bachelor Thanksgiving, follows Treyton Corral and Macy Wright. Treyton is in charge of planning the New York Thanksgiving parade, his only problem is that his assistants keep quitting on him. On a trip to purchase pumpkins for the parade at Mallory farms, Treyton runs into Macy who loads all thousand pumpkins into the wagons to bring back to the parade site. Later, Treyton returns to the farm and offers Macy a job, which would give her a large salary that she could use to help rescue the family farm before the bank forecloses on the property. As Treyton and Macy work together, the pair form a professional relationship, but what happens when it turns into something more? And how long can Macy work two jobs, one in Manhattan with Treyton, and one on the farm?
This is a wonderful read. I loved every minute of it and finished it in a day. I have read all Bad Boy Bachelor books and they are awesome reads. This one is About Treyton who is the planner of the NYC thanksgiving day parade. He meets Macy when he goes to Mallory Farms to pick up pumpkins for the float where he finds her loading them to be ready for the trucks. Her and her father have been struggling to keep their pumpkin farm afloat. He has lost his assistant and is willing to give the job to her because he realizes she is a hard worker. She is strong and keeps him organized and together. He then realizes he is in love with her and she with him. This is a well written book. Can’t wait for more with is duo.
Treyton was in charge of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. Macy and her dad owned a pumpkin farm, which is failing financially. Treyton was having a difficult time keeping a qualified assistant. He saw the Macy’s worth ethic was when he went to buy pumpkins from her farm for the parade. He came back and offered her a job. It was a financial opportunity she couldn’t pass up. Their journey together is easy going. Treyton learned a lot from Macy, and made him a better man. They had a major bump in the road, but who doesn’t? The emotions are deep and real and steamy. I absolutely loved this book!
Where do I start. The farm girl meets the city slicker! Macy mae is all dungarees, pigtails and hay and Treyton is all smart suits, Oxford shoes and everything in order. In bad boy thanksgiving their two worlds collide. There's an instant attraction. Treytons brother warns him about getting too close. Peach (Macy's friend) warned her the same. Great chemistry between the two of them. Loved the storyline. I loved the fact that Macy stood up to Treyton on more than one occasion and I think that's why Treyton respected her. Loved the ending. Such a feel good christmassy book. Thank you Ali and Weston xx
This was such a good book! It was well written and held my attention. I laughed and I got tears. I loved the chemistry, the banter, the emotions and the maturity of this couple.
I loved that they both wanted to help the other even though they just met. I loved that he stepped back and wasn’t disrespectful and tried to prove himself to her father. I loved that she was just as strong, if not stronger than the men and wasn’t afraid to put him in his place.
I loved Peach and Blane as well. Ali and Weston are two authors that I love to read books from. There hasn’t been one yet that has truly disappointed me.
5 stars I received a free copy of the steamy New York set novel Bad Boy Bachelor Thanksgiving: A Bad Boy Bachelors Novel: Book 5: Treyton and Macy by Weston Parker and Ali Parker, and this review was given freely. I just loved Macy’s character, her close-knit relationship with her best friend, the touches of irony, and the sibling sparring between Treyton and his brother. To save her family’s farm, struggling pumpkin farmer Macy Wright alienates her father while balancing the farm’s chores with the time-consuming job as the assistant of the pompous Executive Director of the New York Thanksgiving Day Parade, Treyton Corral. 18+ is recommended for steamy scenes.
This is a brilliant read. Trey is a business man and he runs the Thanksgiving parade and knows how he wants things done, so when his assistant isn't up to it she quits. He's in desperate need for a new assistant but wasn't expecting to find her on a pumpkin farm. Macy is singlehandedly trying to save her families farm so when Trey offers her a job she takes it. They are complete opposites but there is a spark between them. I loved how they were together and they soon become close but a big misunderstanding could tear them apart. Can he prove that he will do anything for her or is it too late. Loved the ending.. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Treyton is in charge of the Thanksgiving Day parade but his assistant just quite because he is hard to work with. Macy is a hard-working lady who is trying to help keep her family pumpkin farm going. Trey and Macy meet when he goes to the farm looking for pumpkins for the parade. He is really impressed with her work ethic and offers her the job as his assistant. Macy accepts because she knows the money will help out her dad. The Parkers did an amazing job with this story but don’t they always. The bring us a sweet story line with some steam to go with it. Great job guys. I received an arc copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my review.
Treyton is used to having a lot of responsibilities when it comes to his career, but he now finds himself in a difficult position as he needs to ensure the Thanksgiving parade goes off without a hitch without an assistant due to his difficult ways. He never expected that having to pick up some pumpkins would be the solution to his problem.
Mallory is working hard to keep her family farm viable but when she impresses Treyton with her work ethic she never expected it to include a job opportunity. It is a win-win as he needs her assistance, and her family needs the money he is willing to pay and that is when the challenges really begin.
It was way better than a Christmas book I just read, I felt like the book name and cover (I know not to judge a book by its cover) were silly and I almost did not read it, but after seeing so much good revies I gave a chance and let me tell you, it's great, Macy and Trey has such a cute story, and trey surprise me by not being a grump, I loved it, and I loved it even more because it was a Thanksgiving related story and with small town and the farmer's daughter kind of vibe. I wish we had an epilogue more ahead of time, with they married and living on the farm with kids or with Macy telling Trey that they were pregnant. Anyhow, it was a delicious story to read.
Trey can’t keep an assistant add to the fact that he’s in charge of planning New York city’s Thanksgiving parade. Macy family farm is supplying the pumpkins but they’re struggling to stay afloat. When Trey goes to pickup the pumpkins he meets Macy. So he offers her the job as his assistant to help her. Plus he needs an assistant really bad so they are really helping each other out. The chemistry between these two is off the charts as soon as they meet. This is a great read definitely a page turner!
Lovely seasonal book featuring two people from different worlds who together make a formidable team. Trey is a perfectionist putting his all into creating an amazing Thanksgiving parade, but assistant is not up to the job and quits, leaving him in the lurch. Macy is a hard-working woman, essentially running her family’s pumpkin farm single handedly. He’s blown away by her work ethic and offers her a job as his assistant to help with the parade. Really enjoyed how the attraction between them was a slow build and how they each learn from the other.
This was a cute story! Loved seeing the personalities come through in Trey and Macy. They had an awkward meet-cute, but learned that each other had something the other needed. She needs help for her farm. He needs an assistant for his company. Oh and there’s like 1000 pumpkins he needs for a Thanksgiving float, and she’s the one loading them into a truck to deliver to him. There’s so much snark and cuteness in this book. I really enjoyed their chemistry and getting to see their evolving personalities within the pages. Can’t wait for more!
Macy and Trey meet while she is loading the pumpkins for the Thanksgiving parade which is being organized by Trey. Time is running out on Trey, because his last assistant just quit and he he need somebody ASAP. Macy is working at the family's farm with her father and it hasn't been doing well and the bank will not give them the loan they need. So serendipity shows up in Trey who offers the assistant job that will help with the expenses at the farm and resolve Trey's problem. This funny, sexy story is a must read during this holiday season.
Omg this book was absolutely fantastic and it has a the right feels to get you in the Holiday Spirit especially Thanksgiving. It's a must read! Treyton Correl is the Executive Director of the Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, but so far this year isn't going as planned as he has fired or they have quit Assistants now he needs help but will it be to late? Macy Wright needs help to save her family's farm but when someone asking for pumpkins for the Thanksgiving day Parade stops by to get them can they find away to help each other out?
Farm life meets city life. Trey and Macy were really cute together. They both were determined to succeed in life even if it meant stepping out of their comfort zones.
Trey must put on a bigger Thanksgiving parade than the previous year but he needs help and he's not the best boss in the world. Macy is trying to save her family's farm, please her father and work for Trey and it's way too much.
One thing I couldn't understand, new job, more money - why not hire additional help for the farm? I really loved Macy's best friend, Peach, and also what happened with her mother's horses.
I loved this! My first impression of Treyton was that he's a bit head strong. He's in control, a "my way or the highway" type. Macy is sweet, but she's strong and doesn't back down. That city guy on the farm? Perfect! I loved the fire that was between them. I was taken on their journey and getting to dig into the big heart that he's hiding. There's an easy flow to the story with lovable characters along the way. I enjoyed the sweet, along with the heat, and more. It's a great read in this series!
A wonderful text with lots of great banter, some drama, leading characters that developped some hot chemistry and a very well set up side characters( talk about a grumpy dad !! ;))
It made me smile and laugh very often and swoon a few times. I'm wondering if Peach and Blane will ever meet ... (* wink wink )
A terrific read. This story revolves around Macy and Trey. This pair is beyond opposites. Each of them have many things in common as well like the way the love friends and family, value loyalty and honesty. At first, I couldn’t see them falling for each other. But, very soon I found myself rooting for them and you will too. They soon became a sweet couple you wanted to read more about. Terrific and enjoyable read.
I really, really liked this book! I think my favorite part was how it didn’t feel super repetitive like books similar to it. The same information wasn’t repeated over and over until you rolled your eyes. I think the author made such good use of every chapter.
This book had so many cute moments and I just loved the characters so much. I also liked the dual setting. There was a lot of cheesy moments but it just was a cute, fall read.
I found this book by accident and knew I had a few days left to read it before Thanksgiving weekend was over. So glad I grabbed it when I did! The lead characters felt real and I quickly got invested to how their happily ever after would play out. Charming, a slow burn and a bit steamy. It’s definitely going into my “re-read” pile. Can’t wait to read more by this author duo.
Ali Parker has written a story of opposites that attract. Trey and Macy make a great couple. They have to work on the bumps that pop up. They need to show each other who they are and what is important to them. They share a lot of them same values. You will fall in love with the characters as they fall for each other. A great story that flows well with great emotion.
