Read 3 times. Last read January 14, 2023.

i’m actually lost for words? i was so scared this was going to disappoint me and for a second in the beginning i was kinda thinking it would but just when i needed it to leigh bardugo pulled through. i loved the found family vibes, i loved galaxy stern and i loved darlington naked with horns in his slut era this entire book. leigh bardugo better never make me wait 3 years again but this was definitely more than worth it.

Mackenzie Sigmon Oh my God I'm getting the book on Friday and I'm so hyped but I HAVE to ask- is North in it at all???

message 2: by Sophie-Marie (new)

Sophie-Marie you had me at darlington in his slut era

Victoria Ahhhh I am so excited for this book but unfortunately it will arrive in late february... 😭

Virginja ↢ 99% imp Is it me or Leigh completely rewrite Alex’s personality? In the first book she was a cynical introverted, in Hell Bent she is a sarcastic assholes that always throws jokes when its most inappropriate.

Meredith I kinda take it as Alex feeling more comfortable and confident in her surroundings and abilities than in book 1 and therefore her personality is a bit different?

message 6: by myo (new) - rated it 5 stars

myo ⋆。˚ ❀ * i agree meredith! alex felt the same to me but she has more friends to lean on and more things to care about so she came out of her shell a bit

fictioning.chelle omg found family vibes?? i really need to read ninth house just so i could read this.

Abbi :) Hold up naked with horns?? Is this literal cause I hope so

message 9: by myo (new) - rated it 5 stars

myo ⋆。˚ ❀ * why wouldn’t it be literal? is there another way for it to be? 😭

Katie Question: it's been awhile since I read the first one. Is there a good recap in this book or am I going to have to read ninth house all over again?

message 11: by myo (new) - rated it 5 stars

myo ⋆。˚ ❀ * you’ll probably have to read it again, i didn’t but also i never reread books before the sequel comes out

Nomad in the North @Katie There is a recap on bibliophile .com if you don't want to reread Ninth House. Leigh posted it shortly before Hell Bent released.

megs_bookrack Yessssss, I'm so glad to see you loved it too, myonna. Darlington's slut era is his best yet! The next book better be set for no more than a year away...

Holly I'm having a hard time getting into the book. Ninth House pulled me in from the get-go. It was atmospheric and unexpected, and I loved Alex unreservedly. Right now, she's just marking time, and it's got to pick up or I'll have to give up on it. It's too big of a book to read without awe and enjoyment. Tho it would help if I could remember more of the first book, since some of these characters are entirely unfamiliar. Usually Bardugo hooks me right away, and your review gives me some hope.
