I had such a great time with this book!
I loved Raquel so much (hell yes to WOC heroine!!!) and I was pleasantly surprised by Jackson. There is nothing that wins me over faster than a soft hero. I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but it was certainly a strong start to a new series. I also love the way the town and it's people there are really built and feel like such an important part of the story and who these characters are.
I will always love Penny Reid's books and even though I have almost zero interest in character that are not the Winstons, I am excited to see what PR will write next in this world!

This author has a lot of great books, I would recommend checking out the Winston Brothers series or the Elements of Chemistry series! :)
