Set in rural small lake town of Proofrock, Idaho, the beginning of this horror grabbed my attention with foreign tourists. I knew I was in trouble when the real story begins and it felt like a chore to pick it up and finish it.
Nope, I wish I enjoyed this as much as my friends did, but I can't get into slasher movie references plot, I thought I like slasher movies enough to appreciate this book and SGJ's creativity. Another "Final Girls" nuuu!!

I know what you mean about being a chore. That's exactly how I feel reading it 102 pages through. I'm not the fastest reader, but this year so far has been my best reading year for a while, and I hope this book doesn't break me and put me back into a reading slump again
