This book book takes place in a post Apocalyptic setting. The H is a mysterious crazy man who always has a mask on. He seriously gave me Mad Hatter vibes. He’s a little mad in the head. This book made me uncomfortable but I could not stop reading. I wanted these characters to become one so bad. So many unanswered questions playing trick on my mind right now. I don’t think I’ve ever needed the seconded book in my life so bad! It’s just so captivating trying to wrap your mind around everything that is going on. I don’t want to give to much away. You should go in blind. I was so into this book that I stayed up half the night to finish it! I love Esme Devlin writing style. She does dance on the line of crazy, dark, and kinky. Her heroes give ME Stockholm Syndrome. I’m completely captivated by their cruel ways and also at the ability they show compassion. I love that’s they’re all a little sick and twisted.
