** spoiler alert ** Very MEH read. Isola is supposed to be heartbroken, yet she never acts like it and immediately starts lusting after her guards. That is not how grief works. Very little action. The whole book,plot and characters are shallow. Reader gets snippets of what is happening, but not enough to form an actual plot. Prophecies are so jumbled that they make zero sense. The only clear thing is that someone is trying to kill Isola,but then epilogue completely erases that notion. I understand that it's only the first book in series andis meant to set premise for the next books,but if nothing makes sense,when there is no steady foundation for story,how can something be built upon it.
