This family, I tell you!
I thought Jada was a lot but Chad had her beat. Add Taya into the mix and it was like a car accident, you couldn’t turn away. Being a PK, I understand the pressure to be and the dysfunction that can arise from that. Chad really was a loving and giving soul who was wounded by the failure of love he saw up close. Taya carries a burden that is not hers primarily but just as heavy all the same. They were made for each other to heal one another. I didn’t want the book to end.
