**Though part of a series, this is a completely stand-alone book **

I absolutely loved this sweet Christmas novella. It was heartwarming, and also at times heartbreaking. Meg is a delightful character, and while I loved Matthew, he needed to be gripped by the lapels and shaken a few times.

This is my first time reading this author, but I look forward to reading more from her.
