I’m so thrilled to add Becoming to my list! A powerful, surprising and moving book as well as refreshingly candid that I think will be deeply inspirational to many.

My daughter and I were just talking about this book! She picked it up so I’ll be sure to read it after her!
I just got the audio book. Can’t wait to learn more about the girl from the South Side who became hugger-in-chief ❤️
I'm hoping the library will get this in soon.
I miss her so much. Both of them; the goodness of them that meant WE were good, as Americans. I miss sanity and compassion. Starting the audiobook tonight.
I am surely enjoying this read and makes me admire Michelle Obama even more than when she served in the role as First Lady with Class and Elegance.
I just started reading this myself. I already teared up with the dedication. She is truly a treasure. I have no doubt I will continue to be inspired by her greatness and humility.
I have the book and audio book just so I can read and listen to her. She a beautiful First Lady. She has a special heart and passion about her. I love her spirit.💜
I have almost finished the book, Becoming, one of the best books I have read, I very highly recommend this book, she is a beautiful writer, she is a beautiful person!
Full disclosure, I wasn't always a fan of the first lady, early on she seemed a little aloof and off-putting. But through the years my first impression proved to be completely wrong. She won me over with her grace, intelligence and character.

Much like the author, this was an intellectual and elegant read. Very informative and honest. Very happy to have read and learned from it.
There is nothing refreshing or candid about this book. It was written by a pathetic woman that hates america. If you don’t understand that, than you need to do a bit of re-education.
I was surprised at the candor and how she packed so many years into a normal sized book.
I was not aware of all she accomplished.
I was not aware of all she accomplished.
Just over half way of reading through this interesting narrative of her life. I am impressed how she is so honest and candid of her upbringing, not to mention her sensitivity towards her parents - what they thought and how they felt. It is this quality that has made her so popular with the people and communities across the US and beyond. The ability to connect with ordinary people with humility and grace.
