really liked it

I really enjoyed reading Michelle Obama's life story. She writes in a very easy going "down to earth" way, making me feel many of the things she felt as a student, teacher, wife, mother, daughter, and friend. I loved her honesty in relaying her feelings about politics and being a lawyer (doesn't like either of those much!) and I loved how she navigated gracefully the life she didn't really ask for, but supported her husband so he could fulfill his dream, his calling, his Presidency. I cried when she talked about her father's MS and his death at 55. I laughed at her stories of trying to sneak out of the White House with her oldest daughter, only to find the doors bolted and locked, having no idea how they opened and her visits with Queen Elizabeth. I learned a lot about what it's like to be a First Lady trying to raise a family in the White House. She really is an "ordinary" woman who happens to live an "extraordinary" life! The best part, was the library sent me a large print version, so I could read it without my readers!
