5 Stars Easy!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Huntress by Kate Quinn is the book I thought The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff would be. (See review here) Having only read The Alice Network by Kate Quinn before I didn't have much to go on. I was hopeful my reading experience would be similar because I loved that one!
Thankfully, The Huntress was FANTASTIC. The story is told from three different perspectives, but I was never bored or wished to "get back to" another character. Jordan (a 17 year old girl in postwar Boston who dreams of becoming a photographer), Nina (a Soviet WWII night bomber or "Night Witch" as the Germans call them and Ian (a young British war correspondent who tracks down Nazi's after the war to bring them to justice).
I laughed, I cried and I learned so much from this book. You could tell Ms. Quinn did her research and it showed, but it was never boring. I enjoyed the mystery within the historical fiction and couldn't have asked for a better book.
I read that her next book will be on Bletchley Park and I can't wait!!

Thanks, Holly! She made it easy! I'm glad you liked it too - she's one of the better writers for historical fiction that I've seen recently.

I definitely think you'll enjoy it. Once you finish I will have to pick your brain about something at the end. I forgot to mention it in my review.

I'm so excited for you to read it knowing how much you love WWII fiction!!

Hmmmm, I think if you give it 50 pages you'll be intrigued enough to continue. They are all very likable characters who are struggling with something and it's fun to watch them figure it out.

Thanks, Jennifer!! She definitely is a fabulous writer and researcher. Again, what I was expecting Pam Jenoff to be.
