I seriously don't know how to feel about this. It's a total mess.

I loved the first book, but I am not sure I like this one that much.

I don't enjoy the writing style at all. I didn't mind it in the first book, but in the second it just became more unbearable.

I loved the characters in the first one, now I don't even care for them at all.

Not sure if I will read the last one.

Fatima I love The Scorch Trials, it is so much darker than The Maze Runner but Thomas passes out like 50 times in this book😂

Tucker Almengor Honestly, the series kinda goes downhill from here

Rachel The Scorch Trials is the best one!!!

Kayla Dawn This one is awful and the third one is even worse...

I have heard. I like the beginning so far.

Kai Fletcher I think they each get more incredible!!! I loved this series & where it went.

Franziska I honestly don't understand why everyone thinks only the first book in the series is worth the read... In my opinion they're all pretty good! First book is still my fave though...

Anna a Oh, I’m sorry that you disliked it. :( I really like his writing style (and I feel comfortable saying that because I reread the series recently and I still liked it. 😅). I’d recommend finishing up the series- The Death Cure is really good. But if you don’t like the writing style...I understand not wanting to read it.

Maryam Rz. I like all the books in the series, including this one, I'm sad you didn't; and the writing style, in my opinion, is simple yet not annoying and not too basic or childish, I think it's actually appropriate, not like The Hunger Games which, I say with no shame and absolute certainty, has the WORST writing style, while a legendary story, my 13 year old cousin would have written it better if Collins gave her the story... It's not that it was written to be a movie, it' that it was written incompletely and is the only exception to my rule of "the book is always better"
but Dashner's writing is in general easy and flowing, in my opinion of course :)

Jenna Grossmann I find the writing style to be annoying as the reader knows very little but it does keep me turning pages and finishing the books in a couple days

Billy Madayag Same. But I finished it

Jenny Baker I felt the same way. I gave up after this one and I still don't understand the hype.

siren ♡ I liked these books less and less as they went on, unfortunately :( I wasn't a huge fan of the writing style, character development or plot twists.. so if you're not enjoying this one, I probably wouldn't continue. The last book only made me angry haha

I don't think that i will read the death cure anytime soon

✨faith✨trust✨pixiedust✨ Dead Account; Not Coming Back This was honestly the worst book in the series and kind of irredeemably ruined it for me. I agree with you entirely

Iraya I thought this one was still 'alright'
compared to the last one, which was an utter fail for me.

Eva B. Honestly I wouldn't even bother with The Death Cure...

Gracie I do think the scorch trials dragged a little, but the death cure was amazing, I would totally read it!
