Uncommon Sacrifice (War Girls Book 6)
By Marion Kummerow
Rated 5 stars!!

I loved reading this! But I can not even fathom being caught in a war of nationality. Families torn apart. Secrets meant to be kept. Constantly searching and wondering where a loved one is. If they are still alive or have perished. Homes being destroyed. The anguish they live with everyday for all of the unknowns. That is why I am in awe of these characters! They have strength, honor and determination that is impressive. Once I realized the ages of these characters....WOW I was more inspired by their grit.

This story is told from three POV. The three main characters are all in different positions. One is in a concentration camp, one is a soldier and the last is trying to keep alive on the home front. Two polish and one German. They each have many obstacles to overcome.

I was very interested in reading this story. For some reason WW2 has always fascinated me. This author did a wonderful job. I was drawn in by the characters and what they had to do to survive the times. I found myself reading faster and faster to figure out each persons resolve.

This is my first book in the series and by this author. I became invested in the outcome for each character. The writing really drew me in and didn’t let go. The wording flowed so nicely as the story unfolded. This book/story just really touched my heart. I loved it! I would not hesitate to read more of this author. I highly recommend!
